Hexa Tap v2: Leftover Moves Now Score, and Level 5 Is Less Unfair

Stack ten chips of the same color in one cell and they pop: Hexa Tap is now v2. Running our auto-play bot raised two complaints: "playing efficiently earns nothing" and "level 5 is a sudden wall".

👉 Play Hexa Tap (free, no download)

🎯 Leftover-moves bonus

Clear a move-limited level and every unused move is worth 20 points. The limit rarely bit before, so efficient play earned nothing extra. Now the fewer moves you use, the more you score. The scoring rules changed, so compare scores on v2 only.

🧊 Level 5 is less unfair

Level 5, where ice first appears, now uses four colors instead of five. The fifth color arrives at level 6. With random play, our bot's level 5 win rate jumped from 19% to 73%. If ice plus a new color at once felt like cheating, now you learn them one at a time.

💥 Ice-crack alert

When multi-hit ice cracks, you'll see "The ice cracked. One more pop!" No more guessing how many hits are left.

🎨 Bbeol Coins and tile palettes

Hexa Tap has joined the Bbeol Coin shop. Earn coins for your first game of the day and new bests, then buy the Pastel, Neon and Ocean tile palettes and switch them under Customize on the start screen or in settings. Only the chip colors change: zero effect on your score.

New here? Remember just this

  1. Place a block from the tray in an empty cell; matching neighbors gather into the cell you just filled.
  2. Ten or more of one color pops, and if a hidden color underneath is revealed, a chain starts.
  3. Made a mistake? Undo one move.
