Paper Flight v0.9: A 5km Storm Zone, Endless Laps and Rescues You Earn with Rings
Paper Flight is now v0.9. Hundreds of simulated flights showed a wall at 3–4.5km, an easy 2–3km stretch, launches that barely mattered and a free rescue that fired every flight. So we retuned the whole course.

🌩️ A 5km storm zone and an endless course
- Past the village at 500m, the ocean at 1km and space at 2km, you return to Earth at 5km into a gusty storm zone.
- From 7.5km you fly the stages again, a little harder each lap. Go for "Lap complete!"
- Space difficulty now ramps up from 2km instead of jumping at 3km.
🚀 Your launch matters now
Throw hard at 30–40° to fly faster for the first 900m. Nail it and you'll see "Perfect launch!". Too steep loses speed quickly; too low reaches the ground early.
💍 Earn rescues with rings
The automatic rescue just above the ground is free once, only until 500m. After that, every 3 rings in a row earns a rescue. Chaining rings also boosts your combo speed, so it pays twice.
⏱️ Faster flights, more stats
- The game runs 1.7x faster, so even great flights wrap up in about 100 seconds.
- Results show flight time, top speed and rings passed. Try to beat your top speed too.
- Holding the nose up is no longer much worse than gliding.
- The rules changed, so personal bests start fresh.
