Number Pop as an App: Install It on Your Home Screen and Play Offline
Number Pop has always been about playing instantly, with nothing to install. But a game you play every day should also be easy to get back to. So in v0.9 you can install it on your home screen like an app, no app store required.
How to install
- Android (Chrome recommended): browser menu (⋮) → Add to Home screen or Install app
- In Samsung Internet, Install app can be blocked by Google Play Protect as "built for an older version of Android". That comes from the package Samsung Internet generates, not from Number Pop, so please install from Chrome instead.
- iPhone (Safari): Share button at the bottom → Add to Home Screen
- Desktop (Chrome, Edge): click the install icon at the right of the address bar
Once installed, you get a popcorn mascot icon and the game opens full screen without the address bar. Installing from the English or Japanese page uses that language's name (Number Pop · ナンバーポップ).
Play without a connection
After your first visit, the files the game needs are saved on your device, so you can play Score Challenge, Popbot Duel and the Daily Challenge even on the subway or a plane. Records were always stored on your device, so offline games are kept as usual.
When a new version ships, it replaces the old one on your next visit, and the "New version" button at the bottom of the screen lets you update right away.
