Make Ten v1.0: Daily Puzzle Is Here, and Stuck Boards No Longer End Your Run
Box numbers that add up to 10 and pop them: Make Ten is now v1.0. We fixed the complaint we heard most, "my board got stuck and the game just ended", and opened a Daily Puzzle to give you a reason to come back every day.
☀️ Daily Puzzle
- A new board opens every day at midnight Korea time, and everyone gets the same starting board (phones and computers have different board sizes, so each has its own).
- Same rules as the Challenge: 120 seconds and 3 hints.
- Your first finish of the day is your official score. After that, use "Replay this board" to practice as often as you like.
- Finish every day to grow a 🔥 streak shown on the lobby card and in your share text.
🏆 Daily Puzzle ranking (new)
After your official run, enter just a nickname to post to today's ranking. No sign-in, and posting is entirely optional. The server replays the same board in the order you boxed to confirm your score, so cheating doesn't work. Phones (96 cells) and computers (160 cells) play different boards, so they have separate rankings. Entries are deleted after 30 days, and you can delete yours from the ranking window. 🧩 Stuck boards refill with fresh numbers
Until now, the game ended as soon as no more tens were possible, even with time left. From v1.0:
- When no tens are left, the remaining numbers stay put and only the empty spaces fill with new numbers, with a "Fresh numbers dropped in!" message.
- Every refill includes tens you can clear right away (3 pairs on the 96-cell phone board, 5 on the 160-cell desktop board).
- So the Challenge and Daily Puzzle end when time runs out, and Practice ends when you save and finish from the pause menu.
The rules version was bumped for the change, but your previous best scores are kept.
🚀 Other improvements
- Share image cut from 1.5 MB to 91 KB, so link previews appear much faster.
- App icons and a manifest so you can add Make Ten to your home screen.
- Cleaner page details in Korean, English and Japanese so the game is easier to find as a free make-ten number puzzle.
