Hexa Tap Daily Challenge: 40 Moves, One Shot, Same Board for Everyone
"Yesterday's board was just unlucky." That excuse is over. Hexa Tap now has a Daily Challenge where everyone plays the same board.

🗓️ Rules
- A new board opens at midnight Korea time. Starting board, ice positions and even the order of blocks are the same for everyone.
- No target score: pop as much as you can in 40 moves. Five colors are in the mix.
- Only your first run of the day is official. Later runs are practice and don't hit the rankings. You can't quit an official run halfway, so grab a snack first.
- Refreshing the page picks your run right back up.
🏆 Ranking
When your run ends, post your score with just a nickname. No sign-in needed. The server replays the same board in the order you placed to calculate your score, so every number on the board is real. Entries are deleted after 30 days, and you can delete your own.
Hexa Tap has also joined Today's Rankings, so you can now see all four games' rankings on one page: Number Pop, Paper Flight, Make Ten and Hexa Tap. Finish in yesterday's top 10 and you earn rank bonus coins for each game.
♾️ Endless levels get a ranking too (new)
Regular play (the endless levels) now competes on today's course. Every run started that day deals the same chip order, and your best run of the day counts. Post it with a nickname on the result screen and the server replays it to confirm the score. You can end early with "Finish this run" and still post the score so far. Runs that used undo are practice and don't go on the board.
In the ranking window, pick Daily Challenge / Endless and Today / This week. The weekly board uses each player's best since Monday.
💡 Scoring tips
- The block order is the same every day. You could rehearse in practice first… except your first run is the official one. Use practice runs to sharpen your instincts for tomorrow instead.
- 40 moves goes fast. Before each move, check what it will gather. Moves placed "anywhere" are the most wasteful.
- Go for chains. Park eight or nine of a color in one cell and pop it with the last chip; the color underneath may pop right after.
In our bot runs, random play scored 0–1,000 and thoughtful play around 1,400–2,300. Break 2,000 and you're doing great.
